Acetylene compressor

Acetylene Compressor is ‘W’ Type, Vertical surface. It acts as a 3-stage Machine.
In the acetylene compressor, cylinder heads are submerged under water. This results in cooling of the acetylene gas.

The Cylinders are equipped with Stainless Valves, Finger Type Crank Shaft, as mounted on heavy-duty ball bearings, Connecting Rods, Crankpin bushings, and Piston Pins are of heavy-duty construction. The Piston Pin is of full floating type. All parts of the Acetylene compressor are lubricated by splash induced by dippers as well as by the Pressure Pump on the ends of the connecting rods.

All the 3-stages of the acetylene Compressor Units are equipped with inter cooler safety Valves, Pressure gauges, Moisture Drag Drain Valve, Discharge Safety Valve, Condensate-leg and Drain valve, the Suction Oil Pressure Gauge, Oil Filters, etc.
